LUKOIL completed the purchase of a 9.99% interest in the Shah-Deniz gas project from PETRONAS for approximately $1.45 billion.

LUKOIL began supplying power to its Nizhny Novgorod refinery from the its solar power plant located at the Volgograd refinery. The use of renewable power generation will enable the Nizhny Novgorod refinery to reduce carbon footprint of its products with expected reduction of indirect emissions by around 10 thousand tonnes of СО2 equivalent per year.​

PJSC LUKOIL became winner of the annual Proactive Corporate Disclosure Policy contest held by Interfax and AK&M agencies certified by the Bank of Russia to disclose information in stock market. ​

PJSC "LUKOIL" announced today the results of the reserves assessment and independent audit as of December 31, 2021. The proved reserves replacement ratio at the Company's projects in Russia totaled 109% in 2021, including 109% for liquids and 108% for gas. ​

​In 2021 LUKOIL Group's hydrocarbon production excluding the West Qurna-2 project was 2,161 thousand boe per day, which is 4.7% higher year-on-year, while in the fourth quarter of 2021 hydrocarbon production increased by 7.6% quarter-on-quarter. The production growth was attributable to the dynamics of the external limitations on oil production due to the OPEC+ agreement, as well as higher gas production volumes.​

LUKOIL presented report on recovery works following last year's loss of piping integrity at the Oshskoye field (located at the border between the Nenetsky Autonomous District and the Komi Republic) at the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources. The restoration work were completed in full, as confirmed by the act of interagency commission that examined the river. After clean-up campaign and assessment of the situation, the company took a number of measures to improve its safe work practices​.

Vagit Alekperov informed President of Kazakhstan regarding the Caspian sea projects involving LUKOIL and KazMunayGas, as well as a number of promising projects that could boost cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in fuel and energy sphere​.
