LUKOIL commenced construction of a water treatment facility with a capacity of 4.3 thousand cubic meters an hour at Yarega field in the Komi Republic. Closed-cycle water consumption is intended to minimize environmental footprint and increase efficiency of the field development.

LUKOIL’s subsidiary, Arkhangelskgeoldobycha, has topped the environmental responsibility rating of mining and oil and gas producing companies. The results of the rating, organized upon the initiative of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, were announced in UN representative office in Moscow, Russia.

LUKOIL's achievements in the field of lubricants supplies for international automotive companies were marked with the "Best Supplier 2016" award of the Russia Automotive Forum.

LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov handed out awards to the best representatives of the LUKOIL Racing Team, an autonomous non-commercial organization, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.  The pilots and employees were distinguished for their utmost professionalism which has helped the team retain its leadership in Russian motor racing for many years.

PJSC LUKOIL today released its audited consolidated financial statements for the full year of 2016 prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 

The accumulated production of natural gas at Pyakyakhinskoye oil and gas condensate field has exceeded 400 million cubic meters since the start of gas production, the total accumulated oil and gas condensate production exceeded 600,000 tons from the launch of commercial production.

In furtherance of the provisions of the LUKOIL Group Antimonopoly Policy, as recommended by Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service, LUKOIL Group's companies located in Russia have approved the Antimonopoly Compliance Provisions which establish the basic principles of competitive business.

LUKOIL presented its latest developments in the field of industrial and environmental safety at Oil and Gas Safety – 2017: Refining and Petrochemistry, an international forum. Russia's Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Response and vertically integrated oil companies – all gave a high appraisal of the efficient techniques and tools offered by LUKOIL.
