PJSC LUKOIL Museum was created in 2005. Its exposition reflects the Company's key focus areas and various historical aspects of the domestic oil industry. The collection contains field equipment and scientific tools, household heaters and lighting devices, dummies and models of state-of-the-art industrial facilities, samples of oil and petroleum products, collections of postcards, medals, badges, signs, decorations, securities, scientific and science fiction books, albums and photos, as well as memorabilia of outstanding Russian oil industry professionals such as the Nobel brothers, D.I. Mendeleev, V.G. Shukhov, N.K. Baibakov, V.D. Shashin, Yu.S. Korchagin, and other.
The museum is involved in exhibition and cultural and education activities. Guided tours, lectures, thematic meetings, and various corporate events are hosted here.

Since 2008, PJSC LUKOIL has an active Museum Council whose goal is to support openness and high professionalism in corporate museum activities. Members of the Museum Council include representatives of leading Russian museums, specialized higher education institutions, and academic science. Meetings of the Museum Council are held to discuss the issues and prospects of the Company's museum networks, plan joint projects, share positive experience in a variety of issues associated with museum community activities.
