04.12.2008 Re Decease of BoD Member

Oleg Kutafin, member of the Board of Directors of OAO LUKOIL, President of the Moscow State Law Academy, deceased at the age of 71 on December 04, 2008.

 

Oleg Kutafin was born in 1937. He graduated from Moscow State University in 1959. Professor and Doctor of Law. Member of the Russian Academy of Science, awarded special recognition for contributions to Russian science. From 1987 - Rector and from 2007 - President of the Moscow State Law Academy. He served as Chairman of the Russian Presidential Commission on Nationality. Awarded orders 'For Service to Russia' (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades) and 10 medals.

 

Mr. Kutafin served on the Board of Directors of OAO LUKOIL from 2001. He was a member of the LUKOIL BoD Audit Committee.
