A COMMEMORATIVE POSTAGE STAMP IS ISSUED TO MARK THE 25-TH ANNIVERSARY OF LUKOIL

A festive ceremony dedicated to the redemption of the postage stamp issued to mark the Company’s 25th anniversary was held today in PJSC LUKOIL’s headquarters in Moscow. Vagit Alekperov, PJSC LUKOIL’s President, and Oleg Dukhovnitsky, Head of the Federal Communications Agency, attended the event.
The face value of the postage stamp featuring an oilman against the background of an oil production unit and an oil refinery is 24 rubles, and the circulation is 224 thousand copies. The stamp design was created by the painter Sergey Ulyanovsky.
The postage stamp issued by FGUP Izdattsnter “Marka” (Federal State Unitary Enterprise Marka Publishing Center) was brought into circulation and is available in the post offices. Citizens now have the opportunity to use the stamps dedicated to the 25th anniversary of PJSC LUKOIL to send their mail across Russia and worldwide.
State postage stamp editions are traditionally dedicated to key historical events, celebrated personalities or major strategic companies and enterprises of Russia’s economy.
The festive ceremony dedicated to the postage stamp redemption is one of the events comprising PJSC LUKOIL’s 25th anniversary celebration program.
