GLOBAL FINANCE NAMED LUKOIL BEST OIL AND GAS COMPANY OF RUSSIA

According to the results of the ranking conducted by the US magazine Global Finance OAO LUKOIL was named best oil and gas company of Russia.

Participants of the survey assessed Russian companies by a number of criteria, including corporate governance standards, financial reporting transparency, quality of the acquired assets and environmental responsibility. About 15,000 readers of Global Finance participated in the survey among which are investment community representatives, top managers of major companies and banks.

Global Finance has been published since 1987 and is distributed in 108 countries of the world.
