PJSC LUKOIL has received messages of congratulations on the occasion of its 25th anniversary from heads of the national and regional authorities, from representatives of the business communities in Russia and abroad, and also from foreign diplomatic missions.
Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Russian Council of Federation, in her message of congratulation, calls LUKOIL a symbol of modern Russia’s economy, a pioneer of vertical integration in the sphere of organization and management of big companies. “You give top priority to production modernization, to the introduction of new technologies, to environmental protection”, she said.
Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Russian State Duma, says in his message that LUKOIL retains its leading positions in the oil-and-gas industry despite the cut-and-thrust competition on the global market. “What makes your company special is strict compliance with the principles of corporate citizenship and the introduction of the latest cutting-edge technologies”, the message says.
Alexander Novak, the Russian Minister of Energy, attended the presentation ceremony of state and corporate awards where he personally extended his congratulations to the LUKOIL personnel. “The company implements innovation technologies, takes an active part in the import substitution program and introduces innovative production techniques. This year has seen the commissioning of two super giant fields, Vladimir Filanovsky offshore field in the Caspian and Pyakyakhinskoye field in Yamal. LUKOIL, whose operations are extended far beyond Russia, has an excellent record due to its high professional skills”, Mr. Novak noted.
Igor Sechin, Chief Executive Director of PJSC Oil Company Rosneft, in his congratulatory message to the LUKOIL personnel, spoke highly of the present generation of oil workers for their coherent and skilled approach to tackling the complicated and challenging tasks facing the industry. “LUKOIL is known widely and thoroughly not only for its economic achievements, but also for its ecological and social programs, for its support of the small indigenous groups of the north. It is through your efforts that LUKOIL honorably represents Russia’s interests in the global markets of hydrocarbons and has won a strong reputation in business”, Mr. Sechin emphasized in his letter.
