LUKOIL AND GAZPROM DISCUSS COOPERATION ON GAS

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom Alexey Miller held a working meeting, in Moscow today.
The parties discussed the status of the General Agreement on Strategic Partnership, earlier contracted gas supplies and potential increase in volumes of associated petroleum gas processed at Gazprom's Sosnogorsk Processing Plant. The executives also addressed other projects of mutual interest.
As part of the General Agreement on 2014 – 2024 Strategic Partnership between LUKOIL and Gazprom, the former delivers gas to Gazprom's transportation system, while both companies are engaged in joint exploration works in the Caspian Sea.
Deliveries of associated petroleum gas from the Northern cluster of LUKOIL-Komi fields to Gazprom's processing plant in Sosnogorsk began on October 9, 2015. The start of the supplies was preceded by a joint project which had changed the scheme of gas supplies to the consumers of the Pechora industrial hub.
