LUKOIL AND INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANIZATION CONTINUE COOPERATION

An official opening of the conference on a joint initiative by LUKOIL and International Labour Organization, "Partnerships for Youth Employment in the Commonwealth of Independent States", took place in Astrakhan, today. The conference is timed to coincide with the launch of phase II of the initiative in Russia.
The opening ceremony was attended by ILO Director General Guy Ryder, LUKOIL Vice President for Human Resources Management and Corporate Structure Development Anatoly Moskalenko, Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia Mikhail Shmakov and member of the Executive Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs David Yakobashvili.
Also, participants of the conference visited some of LUKOIL's facilities – a fixed ice resistant offshore platform at Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea and a corporate training center. At a meeting with workers, Mr. Ryder answered questions on youth employment, digitalization and the automation of work places.
