LUKOIL AND KOMI REPUBLIC EVOLVE COOPERATION

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Head of the Komi Republic Sergey Gaplikov signed Agreement on Cooperation for 2020 – 2024 in the city of Usinsk, today.
According to the agreement, covering major areas of cooperation on social and economic development of the region, LUKOIL will continue to provide employment for local population, develop career guidance projects and train graduates of oil and gas educational institutions to suit jobs available within LUKOIL Group.
Vagit Alekperov and Sergey Gaplikov also attended the opening ceremony of the second building of Yugdom ice arena, constructed as part of the social partnership between LUKOIL and the Government of the Komi Republic.
With the seating capacity of 188, a multi-purpose hall for team sports (futsal, volleyball) and a gym for martial arts, the new sports center will host municipal, republican and federal competitions and relieve the city's other now overloaded sports facilities.
