LUKOIL AND REGIONAL MINISTRIES SIGN AGREEMENTS ON BITUMEN SUPPLIES

LUKOIL and the Ministries of Transport and Roads of three regions, Rostov, Krasnodar, Stavropol, signed agreements on bitumen supplies, at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi today.
The agreements were signed by Maxim Donde, General Director of LUKOIL Lubricants Company-International (a wholly-owned subsidiary), Vladimir Krupin, Deputy Governor of Rostov Region, Alexey Pereverzev, Minister of Transport and Public Roads of Krasnodar Region and Roman Petrashov, Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol Region Government – Minister of Public Roads and Transport.
The agreements define areas of prospective cooperation between the company and the regional ministries of roads and transport, and envisage supplies of advanced bitumen products to road building contractors to produce asphalt concretes of enhanced operational performance. LUKOIL will also be involved in the development and testing of a new generation of bitumen materials adapted to endure the environmental conditions of Russia's varied climate belts.
