LUKOIL AND RUSSIAN OIL AND GAS UNIVERSITY DEVELOP COOPERATION

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov participated in the official opening of new educational facilities at the I.M. Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University in Moscow. Apart from reconstruction of the university's research and training site, center for control of oilfield development and exhibition areas, the company had also supported the launch of the Renewable Energy Department – a new structure within the university, established earlier in the current academic year.

When in the university, Vagit Alekperov received the Golden Partner university award from president of the I.M. Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University Viktor Martynov in recognition of efficient cooperation between LUKOIL and the educational institution. Mr. Alekperov also delivered a lecture on the latest developments of the world's fuel and energy markets, Russian oil industry, and gave answers to students' questions.

Vagit Alekperov, President of PJSC LUKOIL, met with medallists of the XXIV Olympic Winter Games from the Russian national cross country ski team and their coaches today in LUKOIL headquarters. He congratulated the sportsmen and gifted them souvenirs and LUKOIL fuel cards.​​

​​Vagit Alekperov, President of PJSC LUKOIL, visited the Kstovo refinery: LUKOIL is currently finishing construction of the Petroleum Residue Recycling Facility there and preparing design documentation for the construction of the Polypropylene Production Complex.​​
