LUKOIL AND SAMARA REGION FORGE COOPERATION

Vagit Alekperov, OAO LUKOIL President, and Nikolay Merkushin, Governor of the Samara Oblast (region), signed a supplemental agreement to the cooperation agreement between the company and the regional government, in Moscow today.
As part of the supplemental agreement, LUKOIL pledged to allocate funds in 2014 to a regional social-development charity fund, Sodeystviye. Specifically, the funds will go towards the design and the first construction stage of a multi-purpose sports center in one of the oblast’s villages, Koshki, and also towards the implementation of municipal and regional social projects.
