LUKOIL AND SAMARA REGION GOVERNMENT SIGN ADDITIONAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of Samara Region Nikolay Merkushkin signed an additional agreement on social and economic cooperation. The signing ceremony took place during the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum.
This additional agreement constitutes a continuation of partner relations between LUKOIL and Samara region and outlines a number of specific activities to develop mineral resource base, fuel and energy sector and social infrastructure of the region and its municipalities.
LUKOIL is engaged in hydrocarbon production and oil product supplies in Samara region. In 2016 RITEK (a wholly-owned subsidiary of LUKOIL) produced about 2.5 million tons of oil in Samara region. The Company has discovered 3 fields: Taraninskoye, Komarinskoye and Streletskoye. There are 33 LUKOIL gas stations in the region. In 2016 LUKOIL sold 140,000 tons of oil products in the region.
