LUKOIL AND TVER REGION SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Governor of Tver Region, Igor Roudenya, signed a Cooperation Agreement for five years, in Sochi today.
According to the document, the company will contribute to the development and efficient operation of the region's fuel-and-energy complex, road infrastructure, social peace and the environmental situation. The company will also supply petroleum and petrochemical products to wholesale and retail customers.
In its turn, the Government of Tver Region confirmed its readiness to assist with reconstruction of the existing industrial facilities for transportation, storage and sale of petroleum and petrochemical products, and also with the development of a network of LUKOIL fuel stations.
As a supplier of petroleum products to Tver Region, LUKOIL has nine gas stations there. The population of the region is 1 million 283 thousand people. The regional motor fleet is 350 thousand vehicles. In 2018, LUKOIL sold 64.8 thousand metric tons of petroleum products in the region. The daily average of petroleum products sold at its retail stations in Tver region is 18.4 metric tons.
