LUKOIL AND VORONEZH REGION SIGN ADDENDUM TO COOPERATION AGREEMENT

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and
Governor of Voronezh Region Alexey Gordeyev signed an addendum to the earlier
concluded agreement on cooperation between the company and the regional
government, in Moscow today.
According to the addendum, LUKOIL assumes
additional responsibilities to facilitate social-economic development and support
charitable projects in Voronezh Region. For instance, LUKOIL’s wholly owned
subsidiary LUKOIL-Chernozemyenefteprodukt, will help an art school in the town of
Povorino by supporting deep renovation of the building and procurement of
equipment and musical instruments.
Broader cooperation to the mutual benefit of
the company and the region is intended to foster favorable environment for
resolution of social challenges in the region and municipalities, to guarantee
sustainable development of the economy and to create a better investment
climate.
