LUKOIL AND YAMAL-NENETS AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District Dmitry Kobylkin signed a cooperation agreement between the company and the government of the region for 2017-2019, in Salekhard today.
In 2017, LUKOIL will assist the administration of the settlement of Tazovsky in the construction of a multi-purpose sports complex with a swimming pool and of an apartment building. The Russian Arctic Development Center will be assisted in environmental and scientific activities on the Gydan Peninsula and the isles of Belyi and Vilkitsky. The company will also help YAMINE Charitable Fund to arrange medical treatment and diagnostics for children with severe diseases and disabilities, and assist the Arctic Wings Federation of Light and Ultralight Aviation to develop hang gliding and airborne tourism.
LUKOIL will also finance programs of the Judo Federation of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, the Figure Skating Federation, the Ice Hockey Federation, the Shuryshkarsky District Development Fund and the Russian Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia and Far East.
