Monday, July 3, 2017
LUKOIL commenced installation of the accommodation block topside, weighing over 1.6 thousand tonnes, on the substructure in the Caspian Sea as part of Phase 2 development of Vladimir Filanovsky field.
Phase 2 topside of the fixed offshore ice-resistant platform (LSP-2) was installed earlier, in April. A crossover bridge will be constructed between the two platforms later.
It is expected that Phase 2 construction and assembly operations will have been completed by the end of 2017.
Vladimir Filanovsky field was put in operation in 2016. Its recoverable reserves equal 129 million tonnes of oil and 30 billion cubic meters of gas. The annual production rate at plateau phase is 6 million tonnes of oil. Five horizontal wells, two of which are bilateral, have already been drilled at the field. The average daily production exceeded 14 thousand tonnes of oil, as of June of 2017. All the offshore facilities at LUKOIL’s Caspian fields have been manufactured by Russian shipyards.
