LUKOIL COMMISSIONS A BASE COMPRESSOR STATION AT NAKHODKINSKOYE GAS FIELD

LUKOIL commissioned the first stage of a base compressor station (BCS) in Yamalo-Nenets District today to transport gas from the Company’s fields in Bolshekhetskaya Depression to the OAO Gazprom gas pipeline system.
The BCS is located at Nakhodkinskoye gas field developed by LUKOIL since 2005.
The capacity of the first stage is 18 billion cubic meters per year.
Construction of the second stage, with an annual capacity of 9 billion cubic meters, is scheduled for 2015-2016.
In the future, LUKOIL intends to commission a booster compressor station at Nakhodkinskoye field and also equipment for complex gas treatment at Pyakyakhinskoye, Yuzhno-Messoyakhskoye and Khalmerpayutinskoye fields.
