LUKOIL CONFIRMS ITS RIGHT TO USE ITS TRADEMARK, LUKOIL OIL COMPANY, IN EU COUNTRIES

The Community Trademark Court of Spain, located in Alicante, confirmed the exclusive rights of OAO “LUKOIL” to use its trademark LUKOIL OIL COMPANY in all the countries of the European Community.
The Community Trademark Court recognized that Sarmet on Plus S.L. does not own the LUKOIL OIL COMPANY trademark and has no right to use it.
The sentence issued by the Community Trademark Court is final and without appeal.
