LUKOIL CONTINUES CONSTRUCTION OF FACILITIES AT V. GRIB DIAMOND FIELD

Vagit Alekperov, OAO LUKOIL President, visited the Arkhangelsk Region today and was acquainted with progress of the development project at the V.Grib diamond field.
The work there is currently aimed at in-pit road building, pad work for construction sites and also at construction of a central energy complex and of a regular shift camp.
On the same day, a decision was made on LUKOIL’s participation in the social development of the Arkhangelsk region. Among other things, the Company will share in funding the construction of a new comprehensive school for 440 students in the town of Mezen.
