LUKOIL CONTINUES COOPERATION WITH INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANIZATION

In the United Nations headquarters in New York the delegation of PJSC LUKOIL headed by Vice President for HR and Organizational Development Anatoly Moskalenko took part in the round table "Future of Work for Youth: Strategic Partnerships for Youth Employment" held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly 74th session. The event was organized at the initiative of the International Labour Organization (ILO) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. LUKOIL was invited to speak at the round table as a private sector representative, on behalf of Russian employers.
Participants in the round table discussed the issues of making decent jobs available for the youth and achieving sustainable development goals. LUKOIL and the ILO have presented results of their joint project "Partnerships for Youth Employment in the CIS" that was launched in 2013.
International experts have stated the importance of social dialogue and public-private partnership in establishing favorable conditions for youth employment and confirmed the commitment of LUKOIL and ILO to their obligations under the Cooperation Agreements concluded in 2012 and 2017.
