Wednesday, September 8, 2021
Governor of Perm region Dmitry Makhonin and President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov joined today's ceremony of gifting new medical vehicles to 16 regional hospitals.
The affair was a part of LUKOIL's Domain of Good Deeds charity event.
The delegation also attended opening ceremony of a new sports arena in the city of Chernushka (Perm region, Russia). The 20 thousand square metres arena houses four rubber-covered athletic tracks, a multipurpose playing field, training grounds, viewer stands and a synthetic grass field. After the grand opening, coaches and players of the local Neftyanik football team held a training session for the students of sports schools of Chernushka, Kueda and Uinskoye municipalities.
Social projects in the region are carried out under the cooperation agreement with LUKOIL. The document envisages construction and reconstruction of healthcare, education, culture and sports facilities, as well as public amenities. This year, a new stage of the Youth Theatre and two dorms for Perm Tech university will be built. A number of other large-scale projects are also implemented in the region: beautification of a fountain square in the town of Osa and the quay in the town of Tchaikovsky is underway. LUKOIL also helped to reconstruct schools in Oktyabrsky, Barda and Perm municipalities before the beginning of the new academic year.
