LUKOIL DEVELOPS COOPERATION WITH THE KOMI REPUBLIC

Today in Moscow President of PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and acting head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov have signed a Protocol to the Cooperation Agreement between the Company and the Republic of Komi for 2016.
The Company will provide financial assistance to the region in construction and reconstruction of infrastructure facilities, charitable activities and projects.
In particular, funds contributed by LUKOIL will be assigned to construction of apartment buildings and repair of roads in the towns of Usinsk and Yarega. The agreement also provides for the Company’s assistance in the development of the scientific and technology potential of the Republic of Komi as well as provision of grants to finance scientific research and art.
