LUKOIL DEVELOPS COOPERATION WITH THE REPUBLIC OF KOMI

According to the Protocol, the parties will continue long-term cooperation for the sake of more efficient operations in the fuel-and-energy complex and a stronger production potential, which will entail a broader taxable base, higher employment and lasting social stability in the region.
The company also commits itself to help finance programs of social infrastructure development and to implement charity projects and actions. In particular, the construction of residential buildings in the village of Yarega and the town of Usinsk will continue, as well as the renovation of the road network in the township of Yarega. In its turn, the Government of the Republic of Komi will facilitate the company’s investment operations and other business activities in the region.
