LUKOIL DEVELOPS COOPERATION WITH TYUMEN REGION

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and acting Governor of the Tyumen Region Aleksandr Moor signed a new cooperation agreement in Moscow, today.
The agreement envisages cooperation on geological surveys, exploration and production of mineral resources, expansion of gas station network, training of oil and gas workers, and environmental protection.
As part of the addendum to the agreement, the parties agreed on a road map to intensify the use of products and technologies supplied by companies of the Tyumen Region, including those which substitute imported alternatives.
"LUKOIL is the leading consumer of equipment in the Tyumen Region. A unique center, established in the city of Tyumen, successfully performs state of the art operations to develop fields of Western Siberia. We can say for sure that the projects, which have been developed over the last years, will continue to evolve, contributing to the industrial potential and social infrastructure of the region" – President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov said.
"Companies based in the Tyumen Region and LUKOIL have established good relationship. The region responds to LUKOIL's needs, and we see volumes of goods and services, purchased by the company, grow year after year" – acting Governor Aleksandr Moor noted.
LUKOIL started to hold its Social and Cultural Projects Contest in the region in 2015. The company has also been involved in cooperation with the Tyumen Oil and Gas University for many years.
