LUKOIL DEVELOPS INDUSTRIAL AND PUBLIC FACILITIES IN NIZHNY NOVGOROD REGION

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Head of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, visited LUKOIL's wholly-owned refinery, LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez, in the city of Kstovo today. Mr. Alekperov and Mr. Nikitin also inspected the construction site of a petroleum-residue recycling facility, under construction at the refinery.
The commissioning of the facility, slated for the first half of 2021, will contribute additional revenue to the budgets of various levels and will create almost 200 new jobs for skilled workforce. Besides, innovative technologies and advanced systems of operation management will ensure higher safety standards.
Vagit Alekperov and Gleb Nikitin also attended the official opening ceremony of MEDIS, a new healthcare center located at the refinery. The new center will provide professional medical services to employees of LUKOIL and its contracting companies, and also to workers of other industrial enterprises and to residents of the city of Kstovo and Kstovo District.
Mr. Alekperov and Mr. Nikitin also met with the personnel of LUKOIL Group enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod Region.
