Wednesday, April 3, 2024
LUKOIL Group opened two multifunctional full service filling stations at the M39 motorway – a key autoroute in Uzbekistan. The stations are located at the Tashkent – Samarkand segment of the road, 12 km from Tashkent. Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, took part in the opening ceremony.
The stations take up about 2 hectares and feature cafes, shops, a playground for kids and a workout zone.
LUOIL's multifunctional filling stations conform to the best international standards, while also taking into account local climate and culture. The stations have prayer rooms, lounge terraces with sliding windows, and a tandyr (an oven to cook ethnic foods in).
The stations were constructed with traffic intensity of the internationally important motorway in mind: it amounts to over 40 thousand vehicles per day. Now drivers travelling form Tashkent to Samarkand, which are the largest cities in Uzbekistan, will have an opportunity to rest and fill their cars with LUKOIL premium fuels, including ECTO-100 fuel.
