LUKOIL HELPS RUSSIAN ORTHODOX SCHOOL IN NIZHNY NOVGOROD GET NEW BUILDING FOR CLASSES AND SPORTS

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich and Metropolitan Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas took part in the official opening of a new building of the Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox School, in Nizhny Novgorod today.
The main building of the school was opened in September of 2014. The educational facility, designed to accommodate 450 disciples, was constructed with the support of the LUKOIL Charity Foundation. The new two-storey education and sports facility consists of several blocks: large gymnasia, special purpose classrooms, including a language lab, a modernly equipped library and a well appointed events hall.
During his working trip to the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Mr. Alekperov visited LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of LUKOIL’s, and discussed issues related to cooperation between the company and the region with Governor Valery Shantsev. The LUKOIL President also attended the presentation of state awards by Mr. Babich.
