LUKOIL HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DOMESTIC LABOR OF INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES

The 3rd International Conference on Local Personnel Training and Development in International Companies, held with the support of LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company (a wholly owned LUKOIL subsidiary), took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, today.
The event, organized to address various issues related to the training and development of local personnel of international companies, was attended by senior officials of the Republic of Uzbekistan's ministries and agencies, and also by international business leaders. Among those present were Viktor Martynov, Rector of Russia's Gubkin State Oil and Gas University, and Anatoly Moskalenko, LUKOIL's Vice President for Human Resources Management and Corporate Structure Development.
The plenary sessions focused on cooperation between educational organizations and business, and on the role played by corporate training centers in the training and development of personnel.
"Regular events of this kind are obviously useful as they provide a unique platform to share corporate experience in the development of human resources necessary to implement national and international projects", Mr. Moskalenko noted in his address.
