LUKOIL-KOMI’S FIELDS PASSED ROSPRIRODNADZOR’S SCHEDULED INSPECTION

LUKOIL Press Service announces that the scheduled inspection of 12 LUKOIL-Komi-operated fields located in the northern part of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province has been finished. The inspection was conducted by the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Rosprirodnadzor).
Rosprirodnadzor evaluated the company's compliance with the terms and conditions of the use of subsurface resources, the steps it takes to protect air, water bodies (including the Kolva River) and land environment, and the way it manages its production and consumption waste.
Rosprirodnadzor's inspectors paid special attention to oil storage and transport facilities. They formulated a number of recommendations and comments, which will be followed through within the time required. The inspectors commended company's efforts to lower the man-induced load on the environment and to improve emergency systems at the production facilities, as well as its prompt reaction to the accident that happened at the Kharyaginskoye field.
