Friday, June 8, 2018
A new terminal for the loading of bitumen products and lubricants was opened at LUKOIL's wholly-owned refinery in Volgograd, today. The opening ceremony was attended by Maxim Donde, LUKOIL Vice President for Petroleum Products Sales, and Roman Bekov, Deputy Governor of Volgograd Region and Chairman of the Committee for Volgograd Region Industry and Trade.
In its innovative project, LUKOIL employed advanced digital technologies and standards to improve the efficiency of transportation of petroleum products by road and guarantee better services to the company's clients. Thus, the facility offers automatic authorization of clients, an electronic queuing system and online reservation of petroleum products.
The company also provides a new service – delivery of bitumen materials by LUKOIL-branded tank trucks. All bitumen carriers of the company's fleet are equipped with electronic security sealing systems, GPS/GLONASS transmitters and cameras which stream videos to a 24/7 control center.
The new technologies guarantee authenticity of supplied products and protect customers from unauthorized unloading.
