LUKOIL PRELIMINARY OPERATING DATA FOR 9 MONTHS 2004

Crude oil output of LUKOIL Group (subsidiary companies and LUKOIL’s share in output of affiliated companies, forming the Company’s consolidated financial results) totaled 64.08 mln tons for 9 months of 2004, up 7.9% y-o-y.
LUKOIL subsidiary companies produced 61.41 mln tons, up 9.5% y-o-y. Organic output growth of subsidiary companies (excluding consolidation of affiliated companies) amounted to 5.4%.
Average flow rate of oil wells was 10.7 tons per day, which is 11.5% more than in the same period of 2003.
Flow rate of new oil wells grew by 24.6% compared with the same period of 2003 to 44.1 tons per day.
LUKOIL refineries produced 30.5 mln tons of oil products during 9 months of 2004, which is 3.7% more than in the same period of 2003.
