LUKOIL PRESIDENT MEETS WITH LUKOIL GROUP EMPLOYEES IN ASTRAKHAN REGION

Vagit Alekperov, OAO LUKOIL President, and Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of the Astrakhan Region, met today with representatives of the LUKOIL Group Organizations in the Astrakhan Region. The event, in the hall of the Astrakhan State Philharmonic, drew an audience of more than five hundred.
Mr. Alekperov spoke about LUKOIL’s performance in 2014 and plans for the current and following years. In his address, Alexander Zhilkin highlighted the key achievements in the region for the current period and set a number of priority goals to enable major breakthroughs. The parties expressed their interest in cooperation, noting that dynamic development of the Caspian hydrocarbon fields created favorable conditions for further development of the shipbuilding, power engineering and a number of other related industries in the region.
After that, the company president and the region’s head answered questions by those present.
