LUKOIL PUBLISHES ITS 2017 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

PJSC “LUKOIL” has published its 2017 Sustainability Report, prepared for the first time in accordance with the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative. The previous report was prepared in accordance with the G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative.
The Report is an essential tool to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Therefore, their needs and the world’s best practices of information disclosure in the area of sustainable development were taken into account while preparing the Report. The document covers such relevant topics as respect of human rights, climate change, supply chain, product quality, and safety of production facilities. The reporting information is aligned with the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, which corresponds to the most advanced global practices.
In order to comply with common standards of financial and operational information disclosure , the scope of the Report was approximated to the scope of the Group's consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS.
The Report’s compliance with the requirements of GRI Guidelines and the reliability of the information were confirmed by KPMG, one of the world's leading independent auditors, as well as by the Council for Non-Financial Reporting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs through public assurance.
LUKOIL plans to introduce the 2017 Sustainability Report in Russian and foreign regions of the Company’s presence. The document is available in Russian and English languages both in PDF and online versions on the Company's website: csr2017.lukoil.com and csr2017.lukoil.ru
PJSC “LUKOIL” has been publishing sustainability reports since 2005. In 2017, the Company won in the nomination "Best Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Report" as part of the 20th Annual Contest of Annual Reports held by the Moscow Exchange. The LUKOIL Group is being consistently ranked among the top 10 leaders of the ″Responsibility and Openness″ and ″Course for Sustainability″ Indices compiled by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) based on public reporting analysis of 100 major Russian companies.
