LUKOIL PUBLISHES SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

PJSC "LUKOIL" released its 2015-2016 Sustainability Report, prepared in line with the G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative, the UN Global Compact and the Russian Business Social Charter. The report has been reviewed by KPMG, one of the world's leading independent auditors, for compliance with the GRI reporting standards and data reliability. The report was publicly assured by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Council for Non-Financial Reporting.
The report highlights principal practices of managing economic, environmental and social challenges of the Group's activities and also its sustainability accomplishments. For the first time the report provides data on the Group's foreign affiliates. In response to the growing concern for sustainability issues, the report covers the most critical issues of environmental safety, human rights and corporate governance.
LUKOIL organizes annual roundtable discussions to report on sustainability issues in the regions where it operates. These meetings are critical to understand how the Company's efforts are perceived by the public. Another series of events, which envisaged six meetings in each of Russia's federal districts, were held in 2016. As for the new report, it will be also presented in LUKOIL's domestic and foreign regions of operation.
