LUKOIL SIGNS A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Vagit Alekperov, PJSC LUKOIL’s President, and Vladimir Medinsky, RF Minister of Culture, signed 2020 Cooperation Agreement in St. Petersburg today. The Company intends to support the state in the promotion of library, archival and museum affairs, the protection of the historical and cultural heritage, folk art and other types of cultural affairs.
The Company also signed the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation Promotion in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra. It provides for the establishment of a branch of the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia in Kogalym. LUKOIL Oil Company will provide funds for this project. In this connection the document also contains the signatures of Natalya Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, Nikolay Palchikov, Head of the Kogalym Administration, Yury Solomin, Arts Director of the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia, and Tamara Mikhailova, General Director of the theater.
Both events took place as part of the Fourth St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
