LUKOIL TAKES PART IN UZBEKISTAN INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE

LUKOIL has presented its corporate environmental program and Environmental Culture Brochure at the 21st Uzbekistan International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (OGU-2017) which gathered representatives of international oil and gas companies and expert community of the industry.
Given the special conditions of oil and gas production in Uzbekistan, particular attention was given to the environmental safety and biodiversity conservation in the areas where LUKOIL's projects are located. The plan of actions to preserve the biodiversity of the Khauzak-Shady area developed by the Company has become the first plan of nature conservation area management for Uzbekistan.
As part of the Year of Ecology, LUKOIL holds a series of presentations of its environmental program in Russian and foreign regions of its operations. The first presentation was held in Oslo on April 5 during Subsea Valley, one of Norway's leading petroleum conferences.
