LUKOIL TO FURTHER COOPERATION WITH NENETS REGION

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of the Nenets Autonomous District Yuri Bezdudny signed an additional Cooperation Agreement that provides for social development of the region. The meeting took place today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Among other things, the Company will help to support education, culture, sports, youth policy, promotion of patriotism, public health. This year, LUKOIL aided the region in organizing its trademark Buran-Dei snowmobile races for the Artur Chilingarov Cup (named after the Hero of the Soviet Union and the Hero of the Russian Federation). The Company will fund celebrations of the regional Education Day and help with other mass cultural events. Thanks to LUKOIL's support, the region will continue implementation of the public health project Krasny Chum. The project aims at providing nomad reindeer herders and populations of remote villages with proper medical care.
