LUKOIL’S BOD MEMBER IS VOTED THE BEST INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Roger Munnings, member of PJSC LUKOIL Board of Directors, won in the special nomination "Best Independent Director" as part of the "TOP-1000 Russian Managers" award. The event was hosted by the Association of Managers and Kommersant Publishing House.
The special "Best Independent Director" nomination was established in 2008 at the initiative of the Russian Institute of Directors and the Board of the National Register of Professional Corporate Directors. The nominees are independent board members of Russian companies that have made a notable professional contribution to the development and improvement of corporate governance practices in Russian companies.
As an independent director, Roger Munnings was honored for his contribution to the work of PJSC LUKOIL Board over a period of several years. In addition, his services as Chairman of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee, as well as the general level of corporate governance practices in the Company were recognized.
Between 1996 and 2008 Roger Munnings was President of KPMG in Russia and the CIS, while between 1993 and 2008 he was Chairman of KPMG Global Committee for Energy and Natural Resources.
Currently Mr. Munnings is Chairman of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce. He is also member of the Russian National Council for Corporate Governance, the Russian Institute of Directors, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Roger Munnings has been member of PJSC LUKOIL Board of Directors since 2015.
