President of LUKOIL meets with Turkey leadership

LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov was received by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, in his residence in Istanbul. Mr. Erdoğan highly appreciated LUKOIL's operations in Turkey and expressed his country's interest in further successful partnership with LUKOIL.
LUKOIL, which came to Turkey more than 18 years ago, is now among the country's top ten fuel suppliers: with some 600 gas stations in operation, it ranks fifth as regards the number of retail spots.
Distribution of petroleum products, petrochemicals, base oils and packaged lubricants through wholesale chains and gas stations, bunkering of air fleet and sea craft are the core businesses of LUKOIL in Turkey. The Company sold 1.1 million tons of oil and gas products in the country in 2015, which is around 3.1% of the Turkish hydrocarbon market.
