VAGIT ALEKPEROV CONGRATULATES PILOTS AND STAFF OF LUKOIL RACING TEAM ON ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY

LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov handed out awards to the best representatives of the LUKOIL Racing Team, an autonomous non-commercial organization, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. The pilots and employees were distinguished for their utmost professionalism which has helped the team retain its leadership in Russian motor racing for many years.
Established in the late 90s to test LUKOIL’s fuel and lubricants, today, the LUKOIL Racing Team boasts 68 highest titles earned in Russia’s championships and cups, as well as successful international appearances. Through participation in various racing competitions, the team’s engineers have gained the skills to develop and maintain sports cars to the highest world standards.
This year, LUKOIL Racing Team pilots will take part in the TCR International Series, the Russian Circuit Racing Series and also in Russia’s Karting Championship and Cup.
