YUGRA ENJOYS BENEFITS OF SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE POLICY OF LUKOIL

A supplement agreement for 2016 to the cooperation agreement between PJSC “LUKOIL” and the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra was concluded today in Kogalym. The document was signed by Vagit Alekperov, President of PJSC “LUKOIL”, and Natalya Komarova, Governor of Yugra.
Funds will be assigned to construction of residential houses, social, cultural and sports facilities.
In particular, two three-story houses will be built in Kogalym, a ski resort in Pokachi, an ethnographic center in Sovetsky, a water intake with water treatment facilities and water supply networks in Gornopravdinsk, a community club and a gym in Trom-Agan and Russkinskaya indigenous communities, construction of a water sports complex will be completed in Langepas. Kindergartens will be renovated in Uray, as well as Mortka, Priobye and Mezhdurechensky villages, a river embankment in Beloyarsky, school sports grounds in Leushi and Polovinka villages, as well as a community center and a children’s music school in Kondinskoye village.
As usual, LUKOIL will also support a non-governmental organization of indigenous ethnic minorities and Kondinsky Lakes nature reserve.
During their working visit to Kogalym, the President of PJSC “LUKOIL” and Governor of Yugra have also visited construction sites of the Galaktika sports and culture complex which is financed personally by Vagit Alekperov, as well as the church of Saint Martyr Tatiana financed by the oil company.
