Vagit Alekperov, OAO LUKOIL President, and Igor Orlov, Governor of the Arkhangelsk Oblast, signed a Cooperation Agreement today between the Company and the Oblast as part of the XVI International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.

Vagit Alekperov, OAO LUKOIL President, and Fulvio Conti, General Director of the Italian company Enel, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the gas industry today as part of the XVI International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.

All LUKOIL Russian refineries will switch over to the manufacture of Euro 5 compliant AI-92 and AI-95 automobile gasoline beginning July 1, 2012. The manufacture of Euro 4 compliant gasoline will end the same day.

The OAO LUKOIL Management Committee reviewed the annual report titled “Health, Safety and Environment in OAO LUKOIL in 2011”. The report is an approved method to study the performance of the HSE management system by the Company's management.

A Center of Geologic Exploration Technologies (CGET) was opened in Moscow in the office of OOO LUKOIL-Engineering (a wholly-owned OAO LUKOIL subsidiary) jointly with Schlumberger.
