OAO LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov had a meeting with Iraq’s Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, and the country’s Minister of Oil, Adel Abdul Mahdi, in Baghdad on March 22.

The international magazine World Finance pronounced OAO LUKOIL a winner in its annual Corporate Governance Awards. The Russian oil company came in first in the category Best Corporate Governance, Russia, 2015.

An independent audit was conducted at the Austrian lube-manufacturing plant of OOO LLK-International (a wholly-owned OAO LUKOIL subsidiary) to determine its compliance with the standards of the German Association of the Automotive Industry. As a result of the audit, the plant was given the highest category, A, which shows its status as a preferred supplier of leading German auto manufacturers. The certificate entitles the LUKOIL plant to supply lubes to assembly facilities and assembly lines.

LUKOIL closed a transaction to enter a project to develop the Etinde block offshore the Republic of Cameroon in the Gulf of Guinea (West Africa).

LUKOIL has published consolidated US GAAP financial statements for 2014.

The Company’s 2014 net income reached $4,746 million. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization) reached $15,982 million in 2014. Sales revenues were $144,167 million (+1.9% y-o-y). The changes in ruble-nominated revenues were significantly affected by the ruble devaluation.
